Why Detox Using Salt Fruit Flush?

April 22, 2010

One of the most advocated for colon cleansing techniques is the use of salt water to help remove the toxins and wastes in the body especially the digestive system. Salt is used as a preservative and to get rid of poisonous elements in food. It is also proven to be effective in removing wastes and toxins accumulated in the body and the walls of the intestines. Since the density of salt water is close to that of the blood, the kidneys and the blood will not extract water from the salt concoction. This colon cleanse recipe will therefore pass the body system, breaking and loosening the accumulated wastes on its way and making it easy for water and fibers to excrete them by washing them away.

Laxatives clean only a small portion of the colon but a salt detox will flush the entire digestive tract. Cleansing the body using this technique has immense benefits including making the skin healthy and flawless, better appetite, good sleep and improved digestion. There are many techniques of detoxing the body but most of them, especially those that advocate for the use of chemicals, have many side effects that may last long. Cleansing the body using the salt water flush has minimal side effects and not is long lasting. This technique is said to be the most effective, cheapest, fast and least harmful.

The salt water flush is best done in the morning even before taking breakfast. Consider performing the process on holidays or when you have time to stay at home and specifically near the toilet because it is normal to diarrhea when cleaning out the bowels. You will need sea salt without chlorine, fluorine and iodine. Do not use table salt. You will make a concoction of this salt and water only but you can add lemon or lime to improve the taste.
